Audio Visual Implementation.

Teaching methods are constantly changing and improving and one system that is being increasingly used is the interactive whiteboard and projector systems AV (Audio Visual).

The interactive whiteboard when combined with a projector and PC becomes a valuable tool for whole class teaching. The entire lesson can be conducted using the equipment as the focal point allowing changes to be made on the interactive whiteboard that can then be stored or printed, which improves the attention span of the class.

It is an outstanding audio visual resource that can help teachers present lessons in a lively and engaging way. It allows information to be presented using a wide range of resources, which can then be annotated by teachers and pupils to clarify and refine understanding. It can facilitate explanations of models by both teachers and pupils and contribute to an understanding of what happens to a model if a variable or rule is altered.

Teachers can use the board to demonstrate and present ideas in exciting and dynamic ways. The boards also allow pupils to interact with the new learning that is being demonstrated, as well as providing a valuable tool for teachers to model abstract ideas and concepts. Teachers can change what they put on the board easily, or move an object to a different place, making new connections.

A vast range of projectors and whiteboards are available in today's marketplace and we ensure that we are kept up to date with the ever changing technology by attending product seminars and AV exhibitions. By keeping in contact with the manufacturers we are able to offer not only the latest in technology, but the best possible solution to suit its intended environment.

Extended onsite warranties and bulb replacements are offered on the projectors, with the added service of AV maintenance available if required.

This equipment can also be used for IPTV, which enables TV, Satellite, DVD or live video feeds to be broadcast over the existing computer network and then shown on the interactive whiteboards using the projectors. This technology allows a single set of head end equipment (Decoders, Receivers, DVD players, etc) to be sited in the Main Server Room but accessed throughout the school, which eliminates the necessity to have multiple sets of equipment moved around the school on trolleys.

This not only saves on the cost of multiple sets of equipment but also improves the security of your investment and the Health and Safety of yours Staff and Pupils.
